Sav is more than just part of the indie folk rock band, The Accidentals. She's a singer-songwriter, recording engineer, and a multi-instrumentalist who plays the violin, viola, mandolin, guitar, bass, and banjo. 🎻🎸🪕
A Nashville native via Traverse City, MI, Sav has been recognized and honored at songwriting competitions nationwide. Not only did she win the 2021 Kerrville NewFolk Songwriting Contest and 1st place in the 2022 Songwriter Serenade, but she was also the Judge's Choice Winner of the New England Songwriting Competition in 2022 and an Overall Grand Prize winner in the 27th USA Songwriting Competition. 🏆🎼
Her musical genius shines in songs like 'Cityview,' 'Night Train,' and 'The Line,' all semi-finalists in various songwriting competitions. Her song 'Wildfire,' co-written with bandmate Katie Larson and Kim Richey, topped the charts as the #1 song of the year at Folk Radio in 2021. 🌟🎵
When she isn't making magic with her music, Sav enjoys problem-solving, lock picking, trailer packing and backing, reading, baking key lime pies, birdwatching (especially crows), and being a proud cat parent. 📚🥧🐦🐱
